China recognizes the Taliban government in Afghanistan. With $3 Trillion worth mineral reserves, the US is funding ISIS-K to actively sabotage Chinese mining operations in Afghanistan.

Africa And West Asia

• Israel continues house arrest of Palestinian freelance journalist Lama Ghosheh. The young journalist covering the increased violence of the Israeli Occupation Forces last year was arrested in September 2022. She spent 10 days in jail and since has been under house arrest.

• The US and EU slap new sanctions on Iran after their historic peace deal with Saudi Arabia brokered by China. New sanctions to target trade vessels of Iran.

• Germany announces “the butcher of Yarmouk” is now jailed for the 2014 massacre that killed 7 Palestinians in Syria. Mouaffaq Dawa has been described as a war criminal for his brutal crimes in the Syrian dirty war. Palestinian lawyers provided exclusive video as evidence in the case.

• The US continues to fund ISIS-K in Afghanistan while maintaining a crippling freeze on Afghan assets. Afghanistan was hit by a massive earthquake and the sanctions have made it impossible for aid to enter Afghanistan. Reports from the ground suggest Afghanistan is headed towards an unprecedented famine. The US is responsible for these conditions in Afghanistan, claims Amnesty International.

• African leaders leave Moscow with deals worth billions. Grain, fertilizers and oil and gas were top deals made. Russia is also providing nuclear energy assistance to African nations that reached out.

• Srilanka traps itself into a 17th IMF loan deal. Last year Srilankan state saw a collapse and the West was quick to blame Chinese loans as responsible. China at the time held less than 10% of Lankan debt. The majority of its debt was from Western institutions including previous debt owned by IMF and World Bank. Indian business interests caused a collapse in Srilankan farming, a corruption scandal that has been swept under the rug in India by the Modi regime.

• The US helped Indian Military with intel on China’s PLA in their last skirmish in the Himalayan line of actual control. Skirmishes between Chinese and Indian armies have become more common since the beginning of the Modi regime. Unlike previous incidents, this time around there were no casualties. The US choosing a side in a border dispute between India and China is an ominous sign of what can come next.

• The former head of state of Taiwan province, Ma Ying-Jeou, is set to visit Beijing soon to meet with Chinese president Xi Jinping. With the US meddling at its height, this would be a positive step for peace between Taiwan and Beijing. 2024 will be the next general election in Taiwan.

• The coup regime of Shehbaz Sharif in Pakistan is floating the idea of sending 40+ T80 tanks to Ukraine. Former president Imran Khan, who had a more independent foreign policy was in Moscow a day before the Russian military action began on February 26th 2022. Khan faced a quick parliamentary coup, and recently a British diplomat confessed that the CIA and MI6 were involved in the coup. Pakistan’s regime has now declared Imran Khan a terrorist.

• The AUKUS deal for nuclear-powered submarines has come under a lot of fire in Australia this week: Ex-Australian Prime Minister Paul Keating condemned the centre-left Labor government’s deal with the US and UK to obtain nuclear submarines, saying, “the nation’s military sovereignty was being surrendered to the “whim and caprice” of Washington”.

Europe And Russia

• Britain sending shells with depleted uranium to Ukraine. Considering the collective West keeps accusing Russia of chemical attacks that do not take place, this is a dirty move from the West that can escalate this war.

• Germany could ban China's Huawei and ZTE from parts of 5G networks. Citing concerns of “security breach” Germany may begin its own trade embargo with China. German Chancellor Olof Shultz visited Beijing recently and received a lukewarm reception. With these ban threats, Germany is racing towards an economic collapse as China is Germany’s largest trading partner.

• Debates in Polish political circles are heating up. Some factions in Polish political elites suggest Poland will join the war with Russia if Ukraine fails in Bakhmut. There is pushback by some.

• France continues to burn with protests in almost all major cities. The dictatorial move by Emmanuel Macron to increase the retirement age from 62 to 64 has driven people to the brink of their tolerance of Macron.

• Contaminated soil from East Palestine will be sent to be incinerated by one of the most polluting US companies. The incinerator with a history of clean air violations is raising fears that the chemicals being removed from the ground will be redistributed across the region. This plan is “horrifying”, said Kyla Bennett, a former Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) official now with the Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility non-profit. “Why on earth would you take this already dramatically overburdened community and ship this stuff a few miles away only to have it deposited right back where it came from?” Bennett asked.

• Venezuelan oil minister resigns amidst corruption crackdown. President Maduro in a speech after the disgraced minister resigned said “there is no place for greed and corruption because it undermines the Bolivarian Revolution”. Several high-ranking officials have been arrested in the oil corruption scandal involving American companies. The demand for a crackdown on corruption is being led by student leaders in Venezuela.

• Rising violence against people in Ecuador is making activists fear that 2023 could be the most violent year in decades. As of March 12, there have been 430 murders in this region alone. If this tendency continues then 2023 will be the most violent year in its history. Ecuadorians blame the far-right wing government of Guillermo Lasso claiming this is “intentional violence” against people to silence them from speaking against his corrupt rule.
